Are milestones important?

Milestones aren't everything. The world is a better place because everyone is different and on their own path - it's not feasible to suggest that EVERYONE should be at the same stage at the same time.

BUT - milestone are good to be aware of so you know where your child sits on their journey and where to can support them to get to next. They help parents to know when to seek more help, based on what research has found is 'typical' developmentally.
